You found me. But what have you found?
I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne, Australia, working with photography, mixed media and speculative narratives to blur the boundaries between familiar and strange, known and unknown.
My current experiments are primarily concerned with being in-between; with liminality, complexity and emergence. I’m interested in the practices and processes that lead us to moments of true presence, and to a greater sense of wholeness. The Parallaxis is my game; my koan; my vehicle for exploring these ideas. (It’s also the subject of a PhD by creative practice that I’m currently undertaking at RMIT.)
I can most often be found in the laneways and back streets of Melbourne’s inner north, attempting to coax magic from the cobblestones. Sometimes they cooperate.
